Devon & Cornwall Police Rural Affairs Team will be at the Devon County Show, affording opportunities for farmers and members of the rural/farming communities to discuss rural crime prevention measures, security advice/guidance and associated matters around rural crime (Farm Machinery, Agri Plant & Agri Vehicle Theft, Livestock theft, Livestock Worrying, etc…amongst other rural matters).

Environment Agency (EA) – The EA exists to protect and improve the environment in England, whilst supporting sustainable development. They are the main regulator and operational body making sure the economic activity (farming, industry & development) doesn’t damage the natural environment.
Step One Charity – Supports a brighter path to wellbeing. At Step One they support people to fulfil their potential through various mental health and wellbeing services.
Animal Plant Health Agency (APHA) - Work to safeguard animal and plant health for the benefit of people, the environment, and the economy.
Mental Health Matters (MHM) - is a national charity. It is their vision that everyone can access support for their mental health to live a meaningful live, in a society free from stigma. To make this vision a reality is to provide innovative, life-changing mental health support for individuals and communities.
Farming Community Network (FCN) – a voluntary organisation and charity that supports farmers and families within the farming community.
Refuge 4 pets – Provides a specialist Animal Fostering Services across Devon and Cornwall to Victim-survivors of domestic abuse, so that they can leave with their much-loved animals.
Addington Fund - Help farming families in times of need. As a unique farming and rural charity, we provide emergency relief and housing for families in England and Wales who must leave the industry and therefore lose their home, through no fault of their own.
Business Information Point (BIP) - provides tailored support and advice for small businesses and agricultural enterprises in the Southwest of England, focusing on helping them start, grow, and thrive.
British Horse Society - Our vision is for every horse to be respected, protected and enjoyed by knowledgeable, caring people.
Whilst at the show we will also be supporting the delivery of Op Close Pass in association with the British Horse Society and Bicton College (Equine Arena on Thursday and Friday at 1100hrs).Come along and see the demo.
